Synthetic diamond synthesis Non-metallic mineral functional materials used in synthetic diamond synthesis The raw materials for synthetic diamond synthesis mainly include graphite powder,pyrophyllite powder,metal catalysts,pre-alloyed powder,dolomite powder,etc.Generally speaking,the cost of these upstream raw and auxiliary materials accounts for 10%of the cost of diamond synthesis.About 60%–70%,of which graphite and metal catalysts are generally in sufficient supply,but pyrophyllite and some materials have certain development bottlenecks.

 High temperature and high pressure synthesis method:

The high-temperature and high-pressure synthesis method is one of the most commonly used methods to synthesize artificial diamond.In this method,graphite raw material is put into a special reaction chamber,and then a high-temperature and high-pressure environment is applied.This high-temperature and high-pressure environment simulates the high-temperature and high-pressure conditions experienced by natural diamonds when they are formed in the earth’s crust.

Under high temperature and high pressure environment,the graphite raw material will undergo a chemical reaction and gradually transform into diamond.This process takes a long time,usually days to weeks.After the reaction,people can process the synthetic diamond into diamonds of various shapes and sizes by cutting,grinding and polishing.
